FNM here is wierd. First of all it wasn’t really FNM. That was a little dissapointing but I didn’t get worked up about it. Second of all and here is the wierd part, People didn’t know each other. There was 10 people there at the most. I don’t know if they weren’t regular or not but it was all cliquey which I found strange for such a small group. Also these guys weren’t Spikes. The highest tech at the time of writing was sacking a Sakura Tribe Elder to stop a Jitte. This was probably because it had been in a recent Magic Online article.

The tournament itself was a single elimination sealed deck. I could have built a better deck but I kind of panicked. I won the first round by continuosly pecking away at my opponents life, but I lost it in the second round. For my troubles I got a deck box.

I won’t be going next week. It’s extended and I don’t have the cards but I’m sure that I will be back.

Update: I forgot to mention that it wasn’t sanctioned either.
