SD:CCI starts tomorrow and I have to say I’m excited. It’s not like I’m going or anything but between Comic Book Resources, Standard Attrition and the various comic creators I follow on Twitter I think I’ll be well informed.

Mutants and Movies
While reading the latest x-men it ocurred to me that I know of no mutant who works in the movie business.
Why isn’t Jugernaut – who I think is indestructible – a stunt man?
Why aren’t Gambit or Dazzler(?) explosion creators?
Why doesn’t a mutant with telekinesis use their powers to levitate stuff.
Need a monster for your horror movie? Get a shape shifter.
This has probably all been done before in which case I want to read it. Now.
FreakAngels
While I’ve got the app open I think I’ll link to some stuff. FreakAngels is a web comic which is written by Warren Ellis (Ultimate Galactus Trilogy, Transmetropolitan, Loads of other good stuff) and illustrated by Paul Duffield (I have no idea, but he’s really really good).
It’s updated weekly on Thursdays(I think) and it’s completely free. It’s been going for 15 weeks now and is one of my favorite comics to read. That’s including print.
