Every body watches nascar for the crashes. The problem with that is the pace car comes out. No one wants to see the pace car.

I cooked something last night for the first time in over a year and a half that wasn’t a brat/cereal/scrambled egg. Obviously with a time period like that this was a little out of the ordinary. There where a couple of reasons for this.

The first was the amount of delicous home cooking I had when I went back to Ireland. There was Mary’s delicious curries, Dad’s curry that was insane and delicous (it used lots of crazy stuff), Maura’s lasagne and the aroma of the food in 182 (I didn’t partake). The second is I’ve been eating the same fast food for the last year and it’s getting kind of tired. Getting a car (pictures to come later) has opened up a few new food options but they are nearly all of the greasy burger variety.

I got the idea for this particular meal in from a place I love to go called The Bayou. They have a fantastic selection of beer there and delicious cajun food. They do this cajun fettucine alfredo with alfredo that is possibly the most exquisite form of pasta on the planet. I decided to emulate this meal.

The actual cooking was pretty easy. I got one of those packets of pasta that come with the sauce and some chicken breasts. Cooked them and added them together on a plate. I also threw in enough cajun spices to make the sauce go orange but I think next time I’ll throw in more at the last minute. Also the chicken was too well done.

I don’t know what I’m going to have tonight. Something chickeny perhaps.

It is hot here in salt lake city. I reached 102* yesterday.

This just goes to prove what I’ve known all along. The sun is trying to kill me.

To avoid certain death I stayed inside and played video games. I started playing Fable again. I’m sure that this was a mistake.

I went to see the new Potter movie. I really enjoyed it. More than the book I think. Harry is an angry young man but doesn’t come off as whiny I think. I’ve the new book ordered from amazon.

I am in Boston. The weather is threatening. I have no coat.

Wow. I just wrote a haiku by total accident. How awseome is that.

In other news both die hard and transformers are brilliant. I give them a rating of applesauce.

I’ve been playing the guitar enough yo get calluses on my calluses. I fear I will lose them this week as I have no guitar here in Boston.

Meanwhile my drums remain lonely, awaiting for me to play them. I recently visited radio shack to purchase cables for recording. I was succesful in doing this.

It’s been a while. I made a major purchase yesterday. I bought an iPhone. I am using said iPhone to write this post. This is amazing. Does this mean I might blog more? I think it does.

I think that first draft was a fluke or something. The second draft didn’t go well at all. In fact it went quite badly. I didn’t save the deck, possibly because it was such a bad draft. If I remember the deck contained 18 green and white creatures and 3 really bad combat tricks. Needless to say I lost. Bad. I didn’t even win a game.

I haven’t played since last weekend. I should have a game or two this weekend. I need to do some more research before hand as I’ve forgotten what cards are good. Alternatively I might buy the pre-cons from Planar Chaos and give them a shot. I just don’t know yet.

In other gaming news I’ve been playing Oblivion like it’s crack. That game is awesome. It’s so big.

I should get to play a Wii this weekend if it all comes together. And on Monday if Amazon is to be believed then I should be rocking out with Guitar Hero 2 when I get home. Awesome.

Didn’t play magic last night. I did however use magic. In Oblivion, which is one of the best games I’ve ever played.

I never really got into morrowind but from the stories Darren has told I think this game could be the best one ever. According to my last save I’ve been playing for seven hours. In seven hours I’ve advanced the main story once. I spent the rest of the time engaging in stake outs, solving crimes, commiting crimes (B & E is my favorite by far) and learning magic.

I won’t be playing anything tonight. It’s comic day.

I went it to a draft tonight with one thing on my mind. Where’s the beef? I wanted beefy fatties. Of the fat kind.
